Why 7×19 Structure?

Compared to the more common 7×7 structure, the 7×19 rope is significantly more flexible. Of course, this added flexibility comes at a slightly higher cost—7×19 rope is a bit more expensive than 7×7—but for applications where precision and pliability matter, it’s the ideal choice. Our client understood this trade-off, and we worked together to ensure the final product met their exact requirements.

 

7*7 indicates that there are 7 strands in the wire rope, there are 7 fine wires in each share, and the wire rope is processed by 49 wires.

7*19 indicates that there are 7 strands in the wire rope, there are 19 fine wires in each share, and the wire rope is processed by 133 wires.

A Mid-Project Addition

As with many construction projects, needs can evolve. Halfway through production of the initial order, our client reached out with an additional request. They needed another specification of custom zoo cable mesh:

• Cable Diameter: 1/16 inch
• Mesh Opening: 2 inches

Rather than shipping this second batch separately, we coordinated production so that both orders could be completed and shipped together. This not only saved valuable time but also reduced shipping costs—a win-win for the client.
